- Lemon pepper seasoning - this is my favorite seasoning and really makes this corn delicious! You can omit if you prefer or add additional flavors, however you won’t regret trying this out.
- Garlic powder - for extra flavor.
- Ground black pepper - if you want a more “peppery” taste, you can add in additional ground black pepper, to taste.
How to Make the Air Fryer Corn on the Cob
- Prep the Corn. Shuck and clean the corn. For smaller air fryers, or the size of the corn, you may have to cut them in half.
- Make the lemon pepper butter. In a bowl, combine the melted butter, lemon pepper seasoning, and garlic powder. Generously coat the ears of corn with the lemon pepper butter.
- Air fry. Place corn in the basket of the air fryer in a single layer. Air Fry at 380°F/193°C for 10 minutes. Rotate the corn then continue to air fry for an additional 5-8 minutes or until corn is tender and cooked to your liking.
- Serve. Remove the corn from the air fryer. Add an extra slice of butter to the juicy corn and serve.
Air fryer for Corn on the Cob in Foil
You can cook the cob in aluminum foil to get a boiled style corn on the cob. Here’s what to do:
- Place a slice of butter in the center of each ear, then wrap a piece of foil tightly around the cob.
- Place corn in the basket of the air fryer, and cook at 390 degrees F for 10 minutes. Flip the ears and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until you have tender corn kernels. You can spot check one of the cobs by piercing a kernel with a fork to see if it’s tender.
- Remove the ears from the air fryer basket and keep them wrapped in foil for at least 5 - 10 minutes before serving.
