Delicious Baked Eggnog Donuts that are packed with festive eggnog flavor and perfect for celebrating the holiday season!
My brain is officially on vacation mode. This is my last week of work and I’ll be out until the first week of January. Hallelujah!! I’ve always worked in retail and NEVER had an official holiday break. What a breath of fresh air, I thank God everyday.
Typically vacation for most would mean vegging out on the couch with your favorite Netflix series, however I have other plans. I’ll be catching up on things I’ve needed to complete for HalfPastHungry as well as planning content for the new year. In the midst of all that, it is the holidays and of course I do want to remember to be present and enjoy time with my family.
With Christmas being just a couple of days away, I wanted to share a holiday recipe that’s so easy to make. It can be a perfect dessert for guest at the holiday party or even if it’s just for a party of one... on the couch... I’m not judging.
We all know that Eggnog is a staple of the Christmas season. I’ve never been a true fan of eggnog. I’ve always imagined everyone was drinking a glass of whole eggs, yuck! I know that’s not the case, but my imagination can sometimes be a bit extreme. Instead of making the typical holiday Eggnog drink, I decided to bake with it, just like my Baked Eggnog French Toast recipe.
These Baked Eggnog Donuts are not only eggnog-flavored, but they are also topped with an eggnog glaze. And the best part, they’re baked, not fried! From start to finish, you can whip these donuts up in 20 minutes using just one bowl!
