Golden brown Cinnamon Sugar Banana Bread Donuts that are so delicious, you'll never believe they're baked, not fried!
A healthy diet usually means you don’t eat a lot of donuts right? Guilty as charged! And rightly so… but if you’re a donut lover it can be hard to give them up completely. But today, I’ve finally found a way to enjoy them without too much guilt and without sacrificing any deliciousness!
So here we are again, stuck with more brown bananas. But don't fret, this is the perfect time to toss them into a mixing bowl, blend them up and throw them in the oven for a yummy dessert. It turns out that a donut is also a superb way to eat banana bread. The bananas contribute to more than just the flavor in this recipe, they're crucial for baking super moist donuts that won’t dry out.
You will need a donut pan for this recipe, and if you don’t have one already I’d definitely recommend Wilton 6-Cavity Doughnut Pan. It’s non-stick and easy to clean.
When life gives you over-ripened bananas, you bake a dessert! 🙂
