These Dark Chocolate Reese's Pieces Cookies have a super soft and gooey center and is a frighteningly delicious treat!

If you love sugar, sweets, and all the good treats, these Dark Chocolate Reese's Pieces Cookies are just for you. Since it's Halloween, I have an easy and delicious treat that's sure to put a smile on your Trick-or-Treater's face!

    Why You'll Love This Recipe

These Dark Chocolate Reese's Pieces Cookies are perfect for treat bags or as a dessert to serve at a Halloween party, especially if you're sticking with the orange, yellow and black color scheme. They don't require any fancy decorating skills (which I lack), so they are an easy treat to make for any given special occasion. Chocolatey, gooey, peanut buttery cookies coming right up faster then you can say BOO!

    Halloween Cookies

    Recipe FAQ's

    • I used Hershey's Special Dark cocoa powder instead of regular unsweetened cocoa powder.  It makes the cookie dough almost black, which is perfect for Halloween!  But if you only have regular cocoa powder, you could just use that and they would still turn out delicious.
    • When baking cookies, it's always best to slightly undercook them, which will leave them soft and chewy with a gooey center once they've cooled.
    • If you don't want the peanut butter flavor or have allergies, you can substitute by using the orange and brown M&M candies instead.
