Do you have your menu set for Super Bowl Sunday weekend? If not, get game day ready by adding some Vegan Nacho Cheese Sauce to your menu!
I know I’m not the only one who likes to eat my way through both halves of a football game. I’ve never been a huge sports fan, but in social gatherings I'll be sure to show up for the food!
They’re so many delicious appetizers that you can choose from! Buffalo Cauliflower Bites are among my top fav, alongside of these Loaded Vegan Nachos that’s great for get togethers, parties, and of course the Super Bowl!
What in the Vegan Nacho Cheese Sauce?
What’s nachos without the nacho cheese sauce? Douse the chips with a good helping of the vegan nacho sauce. This sauce is versatile, meaning that you can easily make it thicker or thinner depending on the recipe you are using it for. The Vegan Nacho Cheese sauce is made of:
- Potatoes
- Carrots
- Nutritional Yeast
- Lemon Juice
- Onion Powder
- Garlic Powder
- Salt
- Water (as needed)
How to Make Loaded Vegan Nachos
The essentials of this Loaded Vegan Nacho recipe are the tortilla chips, black beans and the vegan nacho cheese. Make sure to choose a sturdy tortilla chip. None of the thin and crispy ones. You can use any brand, but just aim to get the sturdy ones. The toppings will vary. If you prefer a different combination of the toppings, feel free to mix and match. Some of my favorite toppings include:
- Black beans
- Jalapeño slices
- Red Onion
- Chopped tomato
- Cilantro
- Vegan queso
- Salsa
- Hot sauce
- Guacamole
And just like that, you have Loaded Vegan Nachos that’s sure to make a touchdown at your game day party!
