This easy vegan strawberry shortcake recipe is made with freshly macerated strawberries, homemade whipped cream, and delicious buttery biscuits for a classic summer dessert!
Step 1
- Chop the strawberries in a bowl and pour the cane sugar on top and mix. Place them in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. - While the strawberries soak, bake the biscuits.
Step 2
- Add the vegan heavy cream, vanilla extract and powdered sugar to mixer and whisk together until stiff peaks form.
Step 3
- Top the biscuits with the strawberries and a dollop of the whipped cream. - Put the shortcake top on and sift some powdered sugar on top.
