Ingredients

Eggnog Donuts

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 6 tablespoons eggnog
  • 1 teaspoon rum extract
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons oil

Eggnog Glaze

Instructions

Eggnog Donuts

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  • Mix together the eggnog, rum extract, egg, oil and sugar.
  • Add the flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Place batter into a plastic Ziploc bag and cut the corner off. Pipe into greased donut pan.
  • Bake for 10 to 13 minutes until toothpick inserted into donut comes out clean.
  • Dip the donuts into the glaze while still they are warm.

Eggnog Glaze

  • While the donuts are in the oven, rinse the bowl out you used to make the donut batter in.
  • Mix the glaze ingredients together, starting with 2 Tbsp. eggnog. Add more to reach desired consistency and flavor, but not too thick.
  • Dip the tops of the warm donuts into glaze and place on a wire rack to set. You can dip them twice for extra flavor.
