Homemade Nutter Butter Cookies

These Homemade Healthy Nutter Butters are a peanut butter lovers dream! And let me just say, I’m still drooling over them.

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Mix together peanut butter, maple syrup and vanilla until combined.
  • Fold in the almond flour, and baking powder.
  • Roll about 1/2 tablespoon sized balls and place two of them side-by-side on a parchment covered baking sheet.
  • Using the back of a fork, press down on top of one ball about half way through, then rotate 90 degrees and press down again.
  • Continue this process on the rest of the dough.
  • Bake cookies for 12-14 minutes.
  • While they’re baking, whip up the filling by mixing together peanut butter and maple syrup.
  • Once the cookies are completely cooled (about 10 minutes) carefully spread the filling in between the cookies and press together.
