Homemade Vanilla Chai Latte

  • In a pot over medium heat, warm the oat milk until it just starts to simmer, then immediately remove from heat.
  • Add the chai tea bags and leave to steep for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags from the pot, gently squeeze the excess liquid out and discard the tea bags. Then add the rest of the ingredients and whisk well to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness or spice to your liking, then place the pot back over low heat for a few minutes until warmed through and serve.
  • If you like a little froth on top of your lattes you can use a hand held brother or transfer the mixture to a blender and blend for 15 - 20 seconds, until frothy, then transfer to mugs.
