Vegan Golden Milk (Turmeric Latte)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oat milk or any non-dairy milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric powder
  • 1/3 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or to taste
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Add the oat milk, turmeric powder, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla extract, maple syrup and pepper to a small saucepan.
  • Turn the heat to medium high and whisk all of the ingredients together.
  • Allow the ingredients to simmer, for about 10 minutes, whisking occasionally, until smooth and hot but never allow it to boil.
  • When the latte is warmed, remove from the heat and pour into your favorite mug and enjoy.
